Job Overview

Senior ROTARY & STATIC (DESIGN & EXECTION ) ENGINEER role with 7 to 10 years of experience. Full-time position based in Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, India. Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a rotary and static engineer in the EPC industry
• In-depth knowledge of rotary evaporator systems and static equipment
• Proficiency in interpreting architecture drawings and specifications
• Experience in new plant setup and pre-built discussions
• Strong understanding of civil escalation in industrial projects
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and analysis
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and statutory regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of rotary and static equipment for EPC projects
• Review & modify and interpretation of architecture drawings and specifications
• Suggest improvements or alternatives to design concepts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
• Provide technical support during the new plant setup process
• Participate in pre-built discussions and civil escalation meetings
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and statutory regulations
• Conduct equipment inspections and troubleshoot technical issues

Support project management in cost estimation and project schedulingstatic, rotating and chemical engineers for leading paint plant is setting up an plant. This is the broad scope of work in any EPC company ( in this case Asian paint is EPC as they are doing engineering may be from their consultant ,procurements and finally construction activity at site)

1. Static : The scope for candidate shall be to understand process package received from their Licensor and prepare engineering documents like specification sheets/datasheets for various equipment’s like static equipment like columns, column internals, tanks, drums, pressure vessels, reactor vessels, heat exchangers etc  and finalise them in consultation with client consultant and provide assistance to their procurement team to order equipment’s by giving assistance like Technical evaluation of offers etc .After the equipment’s are ordered the vendors will submit their GA drawing and datasheets for approval .He has to study and approve them and also get approval from consultant .Then those GA drawings will be synchronised in plant GA drawings ( equipment layouts etc) and this drawing will be approved by consultant .To do coordination with consultant .

Then the equipment’s will be ordered and within 1 year those will be supplied to site progressively .He will be at site to take care of E&C of those equipment’s along with piping fabrication, testing and erection

Rotary : The scope for candidate shall be to understand process package received from their Licensor and prepare engineering documents like specification sheets/datasheets for various Rotary equipment like process gas compressors of API class, high pressure pumps, API class pumps, high pressure dozing pumps, reactor agitators, CF & screw pumps etc.   and finalise them in consultation with client consultant and provide assistance to their procurement team to order equipment’s by giving assistance like Technical evaluation of offers etc .After the equipment’s are ordered the vendors will submit their GA drawing and datasheets for approval .He has to study and approve them and also get approval from consultant .Then those GA drawings will be synchronised in plant GA drawings ( equipment layouts etc) and this drawing will be approved by consultant .To do coordination with consultant .

Job location will be Mumbai for 1 year n later on in gujrat.
