Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Stores Incharge to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and ensure efficient storage and distribution of our fastener products. As a Stores Incharge, you will be responsible for inventory management, stock control, and vendor management. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role and possess strong organizational and leadership skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Stores Incharge or in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
• Proven experience in inventory management and stock control
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of fasteners and related products is preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse health and safety regulations

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Factory, including receiving, storing, and distributing fastener products
• Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including cycle counting and stock replenishment
• Maintain proper documentation and records of incoming and outgoing products
• Implement and maintain stock control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and production, to ensure timely product delivery
• Manage and develop relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse
• Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient and productive work
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize Factory operations
