Job Summary:

The Internal Auditor will conduct audits to assess financial controls, risk management, and operational processes. The role ensures compliance with regulations in India, UAE, KSA, and Qatar, providing management with audit findings and improvement recommendations. The auditor will collaborate with teams to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.

Objectives of this role

  • Conducting internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls, risk management systems and operational processes.
  • Assessing and ensuring the company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies in India/UAE/KSA/Qatar
  • Providing management with accurate and timely reports on financial audit findings, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Giving independent and objective assessments of the organisation’s operations, financial statements and internal controls.
  • Proposing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and identifying other areas of improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.

Required skills and qualifications

  • M COM/MBA/CA INTER
  • 2+ years of experience in internal auditing or related financial roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in using audit management software and data analysis tools.
  • Experience in developing and executing audit plans and evaluating internal control systems.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial documents and audit reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and industry practices.
