The Role

Where you fit in

As an Senior software engineerfor the Azure Data Platform, you’ll work on ensuring application reliability and working in a true DevOps environment, ensuring that infrastructure is running smoothly, increasing efficiency through automation, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The SSE responsibilities for Azure Data Platform consist of both Engineering and Operations teams into a DevOps model, rigorously investing in product and platform reliability through software best practices

What’s your role

•

• Drive automation initiatives to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes

• Help establish best practices around data governance, data security and privacy including handling Confidential and Most Confidential data.

• Product stability, compliance, and security enabled through the Operational Readiness Framework (ORF) and automation of ORF tasks and evidence

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve system reliability, performance, and efficiency

What we need from you

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services,

• Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure Log Analytics, or similar solutions

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• Knowledge of security principles and best practices for securing Azure resources

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
