About the Company: Established in 1964, it’s a manufacturers and suppliers of mild steel drums and barrels. Types of drums it produces such as – Lightweight drums, Epoxy coated drums and Open mouth drums or as per customer demands used for storage and transportation requirements for items such as - petroleum products, lubricating oils, chemicals & pharmaceutical products.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced PPC (Production Planning and Control) Executive to join our team. The PPC Executive will be responsible for efficiently planning and controlling the production processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement production plans  to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.

- Coordinate with various departments such as production, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth work flow and timely completion of orders.

- Monitor production progress and make necessary adjustments to resolve issues or delays.

- Analyze production data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

- Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and resource utilization.

- Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and plan production accordingly.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.

- Provide regular reports and updates to management on production performance, issues, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

- Proven experience in production planning and control, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in MS Office and production planning software.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Experience with sheet metal manufacturing processes would be an advantage.

Experience:

1-5 years of relevant experience in production planning and control or related roles.
