Title Junior Design Engineer

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech Mechanical) or equivalent.

1-2 years of relevant experience in New Product Development and Tool Design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.

Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts related to engineering is desirable.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

New Product Development (NPD):

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop new products.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends.

Generate innovative ideas and concepts for new product designs.

Create detailed design specifications and documentation for new products.

Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks software for product design and prototyping.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product concepts.

Tool Design:

Design and develop tools and fixtures for manufacturing processes.

Optimize tool designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Ensure tools meet safety and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure seamless integration of tools into the production process.

Perform testing and validation of tool designs to ensure functionality and reliability.

AI Integration:

Explore and implement AI technologies to enhance the design and development process.

Utilize AI algorithms for predictive modeling, optimization, and analysis.

Stay updated with advancements in AI relevant to mechanical engineering applications.

Collaborate with AI specialists to leverage AI tools and techniques for improving product design and development processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

1-2 years of experience in New Product Development and Tool Design.
