Job Description – Account Executive

About the Company: Established in 1964, it’s a manufacturers and suppliers of mild steel drums and barrels. Types of drums it produces such as – Lightweight drums, Epoxy coated drums and Open mouth drums or as per customer demands used for storage and transportation requirements for items such as - petroleum products, lubricating oils, chemicals & pharmaceutical products.

Designation: Account Executive

Reporting to:Account Manager

Office Location: Nadarganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India

Experience: Minimum 3 years in accounting or finance

Salary Range: Up to ₹25,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:

  - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.

  - Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including invoicing, expenses, and payments.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  - Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

  - Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control.

3. Bank Reconciliation:

  - Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.

  - Resolve discrepancies and report any irregularities promptly.

4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  - Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.

  - Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to streamline invoicing and payment processes.

5. Financial Reporting:

  - Generate periodic financial reports for management review.

  - Prepare financial statements and support the audit process.

6. Tax Compliance:

  - Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

  - Work closely with external auditors during tax audits.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  - Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.

  - Support the finance team in special projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Proficient in accounting software (Excel / Tally / SAP)

- Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
