Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP Materials Management professional to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. As a member of our IT Solutions Organization, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the materials and inventory processes within our SAP environment. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The position is a contract role.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) module.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, and stock transfer orders/consignments.
• Experience with SAP S4 Hana, preferably S4 hana version 2020.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Certifications in SAP MM or related areas are a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize SAP Materials Management processes, including procurement, inventory management, and stock transfer orders/consignments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials and timely execution of orders.
• Handle master data maintenance for materials, vendors, and purchasing info records.
• Monitor and analyze material consumption patterns, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement process improvements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their material requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Materials Management modules.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure proper understanding and utilization of the SAP system.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP MM trends, technologies, and best practices.
