JOB OVERVIEW:

Job Title: Assistant Planning Manager

Experience : 4- 6 years

Location: Ranipet, Tamil Nadu

• Challenge the sales forecasts with the sales team especially if they differ from previous promotions with the same mechanic/ distribution.
• Monitor activities once it they have started and highlight variances where they differ from the sales forecast and identify potential service issues or wastage issues thereon.
• Make sure no situation of out of stock to ensure company’s operations are timely, efficient and cost-effective
• Receive rolling forecast from Sale team and update yearly forecast, quarterly forecast, monthly forecast to DP system on time.
• Working closely with Sales and Supply Network Planning on forecast, promotion, stock on-hand (Risk for short shelf life, over stock...)
•  Doing stock allocation base on FC, stock and actual demand.
•  Reviewing forecast, stock movement and make monthly replenishment
• Review monthly Purchase Plan vs yearly Purchase Plan
• Weekly/monthly reports as HOD’s requested.
• Monitor and report on important changes in sale forecast, budget, and business strategies
• Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
• Analyze inventory flow and statistical data then generate forecasting solution
• Support management with risk assessment and mitigation activities
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
• Address demand – related issues in a timely and effective manner
