Responsibilities

Account Receivable / Accounts payable

Checking Sales collection (Cash & Credit Card) and taxes (SC.GST & VAT) with the software reports. 

 Passing sales entry in the system. 

 Checking petty Cash expenses of the Cashier and Store Keeper and preparing the cheque. 

 Reconcile Cash & Credit card Collection with reports downloaded from the system and coordinate with 

Restaurant Manager or Cashier if any discrepancy is found. 

 Reconciles bank statements regularly. 

 Checking Purchase bills with suppliers’ contract and pass the entry in the system. 

 Co-ordinate with Store Keeper for bills or any discrepancy. 

 Surprise Stock checking and balance of Petty Cash given to cashier and store keeper on monthly basis.

 Preparing Payment Outstanding statement on weekly basis. 

 Responsible for day-to-day accounting and voucher entry. 

 Making all statutory payments (TDS, GST, VAT, PF, PT, ESIC & MLWF). 

 Assist with financial and tax audits. 

 Member of the Audit Committee 

•  Any other job-related duties as and when assigned by the Finance Head.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree 3-8 years of Accounting experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions
