Overview:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales activities within the assigned territory. The role requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities within the assigned territory, including cities in Jammu & Kashmir.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and market dynamics.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and insights to management.
  • Collaborate to support sales initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.


Note: Target achievement assessment will commence from the first month of joining.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the FMCG Food sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally to other regions as required.
  • Knowledge of the local market and language proficiency in Telugu would be an advantage.
