Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Purchase Manager to oversee our procurement activities. As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, equipment, and services necessary for our production operations. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
• Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies
• Experience in fostering supplier relationships
• Good understanding of material requirements planning (MRP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other procurement software
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency
• Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts
• Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Monitor market trends and developments to identify potential opportunities or risks
• Participate in regular meetings with management to provide updates on procurement activities
• Manage a team of procurement professionals and provide guidance and support
