Job Overview

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team at A L Paper House, the largest Handmade Paper & Paper Products Exporter in India. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees. This is a junior-level position with 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in payroll processing
• Proficiency in Saviour Software and Saral Software
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and payroll taxes
• Familiarity with HR processes and employment regulations
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of PF and ESI regulations

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and withholdings
• Ensure accurate and timely payment to employees through direct deposit or check distribution
• Maintain employee records and update information as needed
• Generate and distribute payroll reports to management
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
• Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with the HR department on employee onboarding, terminations, and changes to employment status
• Support the finance team with payroll-related financial reporting
