Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Merchandiser to join our team at A L Paper House. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production and distribution of our handmade paper and paper products. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in merchandising and a passion for the handmade paper and paper products industry. This is a full-time position based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser
• Strong knowledge of merchandising principles and practices
• Experience in the handmade paper and paper products industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Creative mindset with a passion for design
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in vendor management
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the production and distribution of handmade paper and paper products
• Collaborate with the design team to develop new product concepts
• Manage the product development process from concept to final production
• Negotiate and coordinate with vendors for sourcing materials and production
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement
• Ensure timely delivery of products to customers
• Maintain documentation and records related to product development and production
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective product strategies
• Provide support and guidance to junior merchandisers
