Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated FSC Manager to join our team at A L Paper House, the largest Handmade Paper & Paper Products Exporter in India. As the FSC Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards, managing the FSC certification process, and promoting sustainable forestry practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in FSC certification and sustainable forestry practices
• Strong knowledge of FSC standards and regulations
• Experience in managing FSC certification process and conducting audits
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Certification in FSC Chain of Custody is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of FSC certification standards across all operations
• Lead and manage the FSC certification process, including audits and inspections
• Develop and implement strategies to promote sustainable forestry practices
• Ensure compliance with FSC requirements and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FSC standards into product development and sourcing processes
• Monitor and analyze industry trends and developments related to sustainable forestry practices
• Provide training and guidance to employees on FSC standards and practices
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to FSC certification
