Job Overview


We are seeking a Construction Safety professional to join our client's team in Coimbatore. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate must possess strong skills risk assessment, and safety audits. The role involves ensuring a safe working environment and implementing effective safety practices on construction sites.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in compliance to maintain regulatory standards on construction sites (Mandatory skill).
  • Expertise in conducting comprehensive risk assessments and identifying potential hazards (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in performing safety audits to evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs (Mandatory skill).
  • Skillful in conducting thorough incident investigations and determining root causes.
  • Knowledgeable in hazardous material management and safe handling procedures.
  • Familiarity with PPE regulations to ensure proper use and availability on construction sites.
  • Ability to design and implement effective safety training programs for all levels of staff.
  • Certified in first aid and capable of providing immediate response during emergencies.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction personnel to mitigate risks and improve safety practices.
  • Provide safety orientation and training sessions for new and existing employees.
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper management and disposal of hazardous materials as per safety and environmental regulations.
  • Regularly review and update safety policies to adapt to changing regulations and site conditions.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for any safety-related inquiries and coordinate emergency response activities.
