Qualifications: CFTI/FDDI graduate with relevant design experience in manual footwear design.

Experience: 0-5 years (Freshers are also eligible).

Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in product design, specifically in manual design for open footwear (Mandatory skill).
• Exceptional sketching ability with attention to intricate details and creativity in concept development (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in prototyping to translate design concepts into tangible models that reflect intended functionality and aesthetics.
• Strong command of design thinking methodologies to solve complex design problems through innovative strategies.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for design creation and refinement.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey design ideas and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze trends and conduct market research to inform design decisions and ensure competitive product offerings.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with a willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve design techniques and knowledge.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to conceptualize and develop innovative footwear designs.
• Create detailed sketches and designs that communicate ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders and manufacturers.
• Engage in prototyping activities to test and validate design concepts, ensuring alignment with product requirements.
• Conduct research and trend analysis to stay up-to-date with industry developments and integrate relevant insights into the design process.
• Prepare and present design proposals and revisions, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance product offerings.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and delivery of design milestones.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, decisions, and changes for future reference and development.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and creative problem-solving.
