Job Overview

The NPD (New Product Development) Creative Designer role offers an exciting opportunity for freshers. This full-time position is based in Kozhikode. The candidate will collaborate closely with design teams and other departments to develop innovative products, focusing on creativity and adherence to brand guidelines. The ideal candidate should possess technical proficiency and a passion for design, ready to contribute from day one.

Qualifications: FDDI graduate with a diploma in footwear design / graphic design / BFA.

Experience: 0-2 years (Freshers are also eligible)

Skills

• Proficiency in Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator is mandatory for creating and refining design concepts.
• Must hold a BFA or equivalent degree to ensure a strong foundation in artistic and design principles.
• Experience or educational background in footwear design is required to meet industry-specific creative needs.
• Ability to work within a team as a creative contributor, bringing fresh ideas and originality.
• Strong attention to detail for ensuring precision in design work and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Good communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with team members.
• Time management skills to handle multiple design projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• An understanding of graphic design is essential for creating visually appealing product designs and marketing materials.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative product designs that align with brand strategy.
• Create detailed design renderings using Corel Draw, Photoshop, and Illustrator to visualize concepts clearly.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and solutions for new product development.
• Develop mock-ups and prototypes to test design concepts and functionality.
• Ensure all designs are produced on time and adhere to project briefs and brand guidelines.
• Conduct research to stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and innovation within the industry.
• Assist in preparing design presentations and materials for internal reviews and external client meetings.
• Provide support in refining and finalizing design concepts based on feedback from stakeholders.
