QUALIFICATIONS   Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Description

   Hands on Experience in Medical Device New Product Development (NPD)

   Minimum 4+ years of proven work experience as a Biomedical Engineer

   Design, test and implement new processes for creating biomedical equipment and

products

General Requirements

Lead the Design and Development of Medical Devices and equipment, ensuring

compliance with regulatory standards, safety requirements and usability guidelines.

 Understand anatomy, clinical use cases and user interface requirements to drive design decisions.

 Designing, developing, testing , modifying and optimizing medical products, equipment and devices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. R&D, hardware, Software, regulatory).

Educating and training the team members on using the systems.

Knowledge in ISO 13485, IEC 60601 and harmonized standards.

Providing training to the clinicians and other personnel on how to use the equipment

Experience in New Product Development projects with deep understanding of regulations

related to medical devices.

Support Notified body Certification, registration and compliance schedule.

Basic pneumatic knowledge are preferable

Understanding of medical device regulations with in depth knowledge of CDSCO guidelines.

Develop and calibration protocols to ensure equipment functionality and longevity.

Proficiency in verbal and written Communication.

Interacts with stakeholders.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to create a safe working environment.
