The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components to meet project requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in CAD modeling (Mandatory skill) for creating accurate and detailed design drawings and models.
• Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) (Mandatory skill) to evaluate the performance of design components under various conditions.
• Thermal analysis skills for predicting and optimizing thermal performance in mechanical systems.
• Ability to manage mechanical prototyping to iterate designs and resolve technical challenges during the development phase.
• Expertise in material selection to ensure components meet necessary strength and durability requirements.
• Knowledge of design for maneuverability to create designs that are practical and cost-efficient to produce.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensionless and Tolerating (GD&T) to precisely define the acceptable limits for parts and assemblies.
• Capable of mechanical systems integration to ensure individual components function seamlessly within a larger system.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to identify and resolve potential design issues.
• Perform thermal analysis to ensure optimal thermal management in mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with the prototyping team to develop and refine mechanical prototypes.
• Select appropriate materials based on mechanical requirements and cost considerations.
• Apply design for manufacture ability principles to streamline production processes.
• Utilize GD&T principles to ensure precise and accurate component dimensions.
• Integrate various mechanical systems to create cohesive and functional designs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address engineering challenges and achieve project goals.
