 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: 

The Lead Buyer proposes enhancements to existing agreements as well as proposes and delivers innovative and consolidated sourcing strategies and deep dive on the various levers of these categories, engage with suppliers, market updates, negotiations, contracting, and measurement of the performance of the contract. 

 Group Central Purchase Function at Paris.

 Business & regional buyers.

 Finance & legal department. Objectives 

 Establish a strong working relationship with key business stakeholders.

 Optimize cost and define preferred suppliers through a sourcing strategy implementation, negotiations, and synergies aligned with business strategy and roadmap. 

 Develop deep knowledge of these categories. 

 Reinforcement of Supplier Relationship Management with strategic partners. 

 Manage supplier performance with a continuous improvement approach. 

 Hedging of Energy commodities.

 Act as an ambassador toward internal stakeholders to comply with procurement policy & processes. 

 Develop with the support of IT Digital dashboards to measure the key indicators 

 Meet the sustainability targets on renewable energy purchases 

 Ensure perfect use of company sourcing tools and reporting. Performance Measurement 

 Internal Customer Satisfaction 

 Savings and performance achieved vs Goal/budget

 Spend management 

 Proficient end-to-end contract management 

 Sourcing strategy definition & rollout
