PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensuring the statutory compliance of the environmental systems (ISO 14001) by zero discharge, zero waste, and zero harm.
- Monitoring the proper disposal of wastewater by treating it in the water treatment plant and ensuring the production of biogas from the biogas plant.
- Conducting internal environment audits, training and awareness programs for employees, applying for environment awards, supporting MR for implementation of IMS system, VSAP implementation, creating a culture of reporting environment incidents
- Monitoring and ensuring green belt development around the periphery of the plant which includes plantation and replacement.
- Drive & identify waste/effluents generated from the plant.
- Develop, implement & monitor environmental &sustainability strategies to address issues of energy use, resource conversion, recycling, and ash management.
- Digitize compliance to ensure live tracking and timely fulfillment.
- Ensuring continuous improvement in the quality system of ISO – 9001, ISO 1400, and OHSAS – 18001.
- Preparation of Environment Management Plans.
- Budgeting and Co-ordinating protective measures.
- Monitoring and ensuring green belt development around the periphery of the plant which includes plantation and replacement
