Job Overview

Mid-Level Automation Tester position available at our client requirement of 6-10 years of experience. This is a Full-Time role based in Chennai and Bangalore. With a strong focus on Test Automation, Selenium, Java, Python, CI/CD, Agile, API Testing, and Regression Testing.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Automation Testing
• Proficient in Test Automation tools such as Selenium
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of API Testing and Regression Testing

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated testing strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios
• Execute test cases and analyze results
• Identify and report bugs and issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure testing aligns with project timelines
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks

Must have,

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a test automation engineer (Selenium)

• Ability to determine the scope of test automation, document test plans, test designs, and test strategies, setting up a test environment

• Validate readiness of the test environment for test execution; Prepare test lab and test data for test execution

• Automating and executing the development of the test script and analysing and generating test reports

• Good analytical & decision-making skills and ability to work individually and also in a team as and when required

• Posses holistic view of quality- Domain, User experience, Black box, White box testing

• Experience in conducting regression testing when needed
