Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Accounts to join our team full-time in Chennai. As a mid-level position, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and accounts management, playing a crucial role in our financial operations. This position requires expertise in financial processes and a proactive approach to managing accounts payable/receivable management.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in financial analysis to support strategic financial decisions within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable/receivable effectively to maintain robust financial records. Financial Analysis (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel for generating detailed financial reports and data analysis purposes.
  • Experience using QuickBooks to manage and maintain accurate financial transactions and reports.
  • Solid understanding of SAP ERP systems to ensure efficient and effective financial processes and integrations.
  • Strong grasp of tax compliance to ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and requirements.
  • Competence in budgeting, enabling detailed planning, monitoring, and managing of financial resources.
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to maintain consistency and integrity in financial reporting.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable management.
  • Conduct financial analysis to prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.
  • Implement and monitor process improvements within financial operations for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications as required.
  • Support the finance team in strategic planning and decision-making processes based on financial data.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of accounting software systems, including SAP ERP and QuickBooks.
