Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at Almighty HRD Consultants. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting department
- Proficient in using Tally software and MS Excel
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with bookkeeping and financial reporting is a plus
- Data entry skills and familiarity with financial software are desirable
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the company, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments and employee reimbursements
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations
- Support the month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries and assisting with financial analysis and reporting
- Assist with tax compliance and filing, including preparing and reviewing tax forms and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support for decision-making processes
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial and accounting files and records
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in implementing best practices in financial operations
