Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Operator with hands-on experience in the wood manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess advanced CAD skills and in-depth knowledge of wood materials and production processes. This role is responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical and shop drawings, aiding in the design and manufacturing of wood-based products, and collaborating with production teams to ensure designs meet quality standards and production specifications.

Key Responsibilities: •

Develop detailed CAD and shop drawings for custom woodwork, cabinetry, and other woodbased products. • Interpret project specifications, client requirements, and blueprints to create precise drawings • Collaborate closely with production, design, and engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and optimized for manufacturing. • Update and revise drawings based on feedback from clients, project managers, and manufacturing teams. • Monitor and maintain project documentation, ensuring version control and accuracy of designs. • 3D construction drawing Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field. • 2+ years of CAD experience, specifically within the wood manufacturing industry. • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) • Strong understanding of wood materials, construction techniques, and finishing processes. • Familiarity with technical specifications, design standards, and woodworking terminology.
