Overview

Our Client, a Digital Employment Cooperative, looking to enhance our core technology team. we're actively seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on backend development to bolster our core technology team. The successful candidate will possess solid computer science fundamentals, significant backend experience, and proficiency with Python-based web frameworks, such as Django or Flask.We also expect our ideal candidate to have some familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React / Typescripts, Vue, or Angular, demonstrating a holistic approach to full stack development. In this position, you'll leverage your backend skills, while also contributing to frontend development. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, managing infrastructure on AWS or Google Cloud with Kubernetes, and handling databases using MySQL and MongoDB.

Experience with Web3.js and Ethers.js is also preferred. Major Tasks

● Work with our Product and Technology Steward and Lead Engineer to ship high

quality clean, and maintainable code in Python, Golang, and Node.js.

● Design and manage backend architecture using Django and ensure efficient data

interchange between servers and users.

● Develop engaging and responsive user interfaces using frontend technologies

like React and TypeScript.

● Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and a basic understanding of GraphQL.

● Operate and manage infrastructure on AWS, utilizing Kubernetes for

orchestration.

● Integrate Ethereum blockchain functionality using Web3.js (basic knowledge).

● Create, maintain, and optimize databases using MySQL and MongoDB.

● Collaborate with team members to ideate software solutions.

● Conduct thorough testing to ensure software responsiveness and efficiency.

● Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.

● Implement security measures and data protection.

● Write documentation for the applications you build.

● Perform frequent code reviews.

● Mentor and help train more junior developers.

Technical Requirements

● 5-7+ years full-stack experience building complex applications.

● Proficiency in Python, Golang and Node.js.

● Expertise in Django framework.

● Proficient understanding of React and TypeScript.

● Strong experience in RESTful APIs and basic knowledge of GraphQL.

● Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.

● Basic knowledge of Web3.js.

● Proficiency in MySQL and MongoDB.

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

● Great attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Non-Technical Role Requirements

● Demonstrated experience working in small to medium development teams.

Bonus Skills
