Job Description

A Sr Cloud Engineer will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation, A key part of the role would be working closely with the operations and DevOps to build, manage and automate our customer’s AWS Infrastructure using Terraform, working on CI/CD pipelines to automate recurring tasks and developing software components as containerized applications using Python.  

Must be proficient in:

• At least 7+ years of experience in (L3 Skills) (AWS, Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins)

•Must have in- depth knowledge in Python, should be able to develop codes. 

• Experience working in AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud technologies

• Practical experience with Docker containerzation and Clustering (Kubernetes/EKS)

• Design, test and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines using bitbucket/github, Jenkins.

• Experience working with different services like Ec2, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda in AWS.

• Experience in creating Infrastructure in AWS using Terraform/Cloudformation.

• Strong terraform skills to deploy infrastructure as a code. 

•Having Grafana is a plus .

Nice to have:

• Should demonstrate strong Troubleshooting skills

• Setup and management of Kubernetes Cluster, including writing Dockerfile and Helm charts

• Strong understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, Firewalls and Networking concepts (VPC, Subnetting, VPNs, etc)

• Experience with configuration management tools (E.g Ansible, Chef)

• Understanding of Monitoring tools (NewRelic, Pagerduty, Splunk, Cloudwatch etc)

• Strong Communication and documentation skills

• Ability to learn and apply new technologies through self-Learning

• Understanding of Monitoring tools (NewRelic, Pagerduty, Splunk, Cloudwatch etc)  

• Experiencing of working in Biosciences domain.  

Certifications (Desirable) :

1. AWS Solution Architect Associate or Up

2. AWS DevOps Associate or Up
