Job Title: Next.js Developer (Contract)

Location: Trivandrum, Kerala (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract (Duration: 6 months - 1 year)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Next.js Developer with over 4+ years of front-end development expertise to join our team on a contract basis.The ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of React, Next.js, and front-end performance optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Next.js Applications: Build and enhance scalable, high-performance front-end applications using Next.js.

Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG): Implement SSR, SSG, and ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) for optimized SEO and user experience.

API Integration: Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless client-server communication.

Collaborate with Design and Backend Teams: Work closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver cohesive and user-centered applications.

Optimize Performance: Utilize best practices to ensure fast loading times, responsiveness, and efficient resource usage.

Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable code and implement testing procedures to ensure application reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in front-end development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Next.js.

Proficiency in React and Next.js: Strong knowledge of Next.js features, including SSR, SSG, and React fundamentals like hooks and component-based design.

JavaScript/TypeScript Mastery: Proficiency in ES6+ JavaScript and TypeScript for scalable code development.

Styling and CSS Frameworks: Experience with CSS, Sass, and frameworks like Tailwind CSS or styled-components.

Backend Communication: Strong understanding of integrating APIs and handling data with RESTful services and GraphQL.

Version Control: Proficient with Git for code versioning and collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with DevOps practices, especially deployment on platforms like Vercel, AWS, or Netlify.

Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.

Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or similar.

Understanding of web performance optimization tools and techniques, such as Lighthouse and caching strategies.
