- On the backend, experience with server-side development in Java & Kotlin
- Experience in RESTful API development using Spring Boot
- Understanding of OOD/OOP and design patterns in server-side Java or Kotlin
- Understanding of clean code principles
- Strong unit testing experience (familiarity with: Mockito/JUnit)
- Good understanding of Git and branching
- Good experience with code reviews via pull requests, both as a reviewee and reviewer
- Good ability to clearly articulate technical circumstances
Some Experience Required
- Familiarity with a frontend JavaScript framework such as React and state management frameworks such as Redux or Saga
- Familiarity with front end testing frameworks such as Jest or Enzyme
- In DevOps, sufficient experience with deploying backend and frontend via build pipelines (e.g., bitbucket)
- Familiarity with basic cloud principles, AWS experience preferred
- Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Nice to Haves/Bonus
- Mobile: React Native/Expo
- DevOps: Terraform and Bitbucket pipelines or similar
