Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Shopify themes and plugins to meet client needs.
- Integrate third-party apps and platforms (BigCommerce, WooCommerce) as required.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality ecommerce solutions.
- Optimize Shopify sites for speed, scalability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify configurations and integrations.
- Stay updated with Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce platform updates and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with demonstrable portfolio of Shopify projects.
- Experience with BigCommerce and WooCommerce development, including plugin development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including ES6), and Liquid templating language.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices and user experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field (preferred).
