The Head – ERP Application will work closely with Polycab’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) to drive the core apps agenda in-line with the overall digital and technology strategy. The key roles and responsibilities will be across the following five areas:

1. Manage core enterprise platforms • Should have the exposure of Oracle in manufacturing environment and have been a module lead of at least two functions. Good if have exposure of other ERP’s also. • Should have an implemented Oracle in at least 4 locations. Experience of upgrading Oracle would be also of value • Capable of leading Oracle module leads and technical team. • Ensure enhancements, upgrades and ongoing support and maintenance of ERP applications including Oracle ERP etc • Oversee the gathering of requirements around any changes required in the core platforms and manage the delivery of these in the relevant systems • Ensure meeting business objectives and requirements through high-quality project delivery in adherence to all IT policies, procedures and SLAs • Secure and ensure on-going business alignment from a core applications perspective • Oversee the entire development and testing process and ensure effective coordination across all parties to deliver as per agreed upon quality, budget and timelines

2. Manage day to day core apps related operations • Manage SLAs around core systems availability so that day to day business operations are not disrupted • Manage smooth and fast end user support around core apps areas at the HO and in the plants • Manage SLAs around suitable L2 and L3 support around core Apps

3. Establish and manage suitable teams and relationships • Establish and manage the IT team to manage core apps with a suitable mix of inhouse and external resources • Lead and develop a high-caliber team on the core apps side through effective recruitment, training, coaching and mentoring • Ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices between partners and colleagues to help embed a robust digital ecosystem • Manage suitable internal business stakeholder relationships to drive value

4. Establish and manage suitable vendor and external ecosystem partnerships • Drive and maintain suitable vendor relationships around core applications • Ensure alignment with IT governance on vendor interactions and on-time, high quality deliverables from the vendors • Establish a suitable ecosystem of providers and partners

Experience and skill set requirements • 12+ years of technology experience with pedigree in managing core applications • Strong experience in Oracle ERP from an implementation and support perspective in related industries • Exposure to and understanding of areas such as Digital, Analytics, Cybersecurity • Extensive exposure to IT development, implementation, support and operations in related industries in a fast-paced environment • Have an innovative and disruptive mindset, constantly looking forward • Should be passionate to drive change, and be comfortable in dealing with ambiguous situations
