Job Overview
Ajanta Bottle Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Purchasing Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience. This full-time position is located in Delhi, New Delhi. Join our team to contribute to the procurement processes of high-quality glass bottles and jars for leading industries in India and globally.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in B Tech or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management and procurement processes
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of cost management and vendor management practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools
- Understanding of supply chain principles and logistics
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute procurement activities for glass bottles and jars ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements for materials
- Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock and prevent shortages
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, prices, and deliveries
- Assess supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies
- Implement cost management strategies to enhance profitability

The company has multiple warehouses located at Delhi, Roorkee and Mumbai.
Our products, services and brand have been built over a span of 40 years. All glass bottles supplied by Ajanta Bottle are manufactured in Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 certified plants. Further, we ensure all bottles and jars do not contain lead and other heavy metals. For this, the bottles are tested regularly by renowned third-party external labs. All glass bottles are tested for United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Type II and Type III as per customer’s requirement.
Transparency, traceability and safety are our key focus areas. All our glass bottles and glass jars have the manufacturer's symbol, plant location, and mould number embossed to ensure complete traceability of the glass product. An assured quality level (AQL) document is shared with the customer to ensure complete transparency on the quality and consistency of glass bottles and jars.
