As a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant operating across the enterprise within the capability team, you will be responsible for assisting organizations in adopting service management and asset management best practices and optimizing them on the ServiceNow platform while leveraging the CMDB. Successful candidates will have expertise focused on service management/asset management process design and ServiceNow configuration with a little hint of development knowledge. As a member of a project team the Business Process Consultant will be working with our clients to assess current state processes and tools and define ServiceNow solution requirements in alignment with these requirements. Lead client-facing User Requirements workshops. Requirement gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and user requirements (both functional and non-functional) to effectively recommend and functionally design technology solutions that best address the requirements. Work with clients and provide leadership on IT Service Management (ITSM and ITOM) best practices. Conduct gap analysis and assessments to identify the delta between ServiceNow and Client ITSM and ITOM processes Identify potential solutions for the business and provide input to issues or risks (through knowledge of the business and user requirements) Identify project interdependencies and communicate requirement/scope issues and participate in driving them to resolution for inclusion in the functional specifications Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for input into application activities Creation of user stories and acceptance criteria to be used in agile development Interact with subject matter experts, application development, implementation support, and production support staff to define functional specifications that meet users requirements and are technically appropriate Recommend changes to established methods, suggests alternative solutions and new methods, to improve quality and increase productivity Communicate with the Project Managers and assists in the management of client expectations Create and maintain BSA/BPC deliverables as mandated in our development lifecycle Provide support for the creation and maintenance of project documentation as per the development lifecycle Must have ITSM ITOM & SPM knowledge supported by ServiceNow certifications
