We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Physical Design to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Lead Physical Design, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire physical design process, including floor planning, placement, synthesis, and timing closure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality semiconductor products.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7 to 10 years of industry experience in physical design
• In-depth knowledge of EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics
• Strong understanding of advanced physical design methodologies and flow
• Experience with floor planning, placement, and timing closure
• Proficient in TCL and Perl scripting
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage physical design projects from start to finish
• Collaborate with design teams to create floorplans and ensure proper placement of functional blocks
• Perform synthesis and timing closure for complex designs
• Optimize power, performance, and area (PPA) metrics through innovative design techniques
• Work closely with EDA tool vendors to evaluate and adopt new tools and methodologies
• Ensure designs meet quality and performance specifications
• Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and guidance
