Job Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief of Temple to join AiR Institute of Realization. As the Chief of Temple, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the institute's temple. This includes managing the temple staff, implementing temple rituals and practices, and ensuring a smooth flow of activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in temple management and administration, with excellent leadership and communication skills.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Temple Management, Religious Studies, or a related field
  • Proven experience of 7 to 10 years in temple management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of temple rituals, practices, and spiritual traditions
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse team and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Proficient in budgeting and financial management
  • Experience in coordinating with external vendors and managing vendor contracts
  • Customer service-focused mindset with a dedication to providing a positive temple experience
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office and temple management software


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the temple, including managing temple staff, schedules, and activities
  • Ensure the smooth flow of temple rituals and practices, coordinating with priests, volunteers, and participants
  • Develop and implement temple policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of spiritual practice
  • Manage the temple budget, including financial planning, expense tracking, and fundraising initiatives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote temple events and attract visitors
  • Provide guidance and support to temple staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Maintain and enhance the temple's physical and spiritual ambiance, ensuring cleanliness and sanctity
  • Coordinate with external vendors for temple services, such as maintenance, decorations, and event planning
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to temple operations
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in temple management to optimize operations
