Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Fresher with less than 1 year of experience in software testing
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing on software applications and systems to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Execute test cases, track defects, and document test results
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing tools/techniques
• Participate in code and design reviews to provide input from a testing perspective
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
