Role: Salesforce Business Analyst
Key responsibilities
Business Analysis:
• Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop user stories, process flows, and wireframes to communicate
requirements effectively.
• Perform gap analysis to determine Salesforce customization needs versus
standard functionality.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews for requirements
elicitation.
Salesforce Administration:
• Manage and configure Salesforce platform, including objects, fields, workflows,
validation rules, and page layouts.
• Maintain user roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings.
• Handle data imports, exports, and data cleansing activities using tools like Data
Loader or Workbench.
• Monitor and improve system performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage Salesforce release updates and system enhancements.
System Customization and Enhancements:
• Design and implement solutions using declarative tools such as Process Builder,
Flow Builder, and Lightning App Builder.
• Collaborate with developers to implement advanced customizations and
integrations.
• Create and manage reports and dashboards tailored to business needs.
Training and Support:
• Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation for new
functionalities.

• Provide ongoing support to resolve issues and improve user adoption.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce-related queries.
Project Management:
• Assist in project planning, prioritization, and coordination of Salesforce
implementations or enhancements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Required skills
A minimum of 7 years of experience as business analyst is mandatory for this role.
Salesforce Skills:
• Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
• Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools (Flow Builder, Process Builder,
Validation Rules).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, including profiles, roles, and
permission sets.
• Familiarity with AppExchange products and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL (basic understanding for
communication with developers).
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management
platforms.
Business Analysis Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for translating business
needs into technical requirements.
Technical and Data Management Skills:
• Experience with ETL tools for data migration and cleansing (e.g., MuleSoft, Data
Loader).
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Soft Skills:
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team leadership and mentoring junior admins or analysts.

• Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst (or equivalent)
