Role: Lead Salesforce Tester

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, business systems

analysts, and product owners) to develop a test strategy that ensures

comprehensive test coverage of Salesforce solutions.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on Salesforce

implementations, including workflows, custom objects, and integrations with

other systems.

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for Salesforce testing using

tools like Selenium or similar.

• Execute automation tests and analyse results to identify areas for improvement,

reporting back to the team with actionable insights.

• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and

automated testing. Ensure proper documentation of defects and resolutions.

• Conduct performance and load testing for Salesforce solutions to ensure

scalability and performance.

• Mentor junior QA team members, drive best practices for QA in the Salesforce

environment, and foster a culture of quality within the team.

• Test integrations between Salesforce and other to ensure seamless data flow

and process alignment.

• Log and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring that they are resolved in a

timely manner.

• Work closely with the client and product team to analyse requirements, ensuring

testing strategies align perfectly with business needs and product goals.

Required skills

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a solid foundation in both manual

and automated testing techniques. Looking forward to candidates with minimum

3 years of Salesforce platform testing experience.

• Conduct role-based testing to ensure compatibility with Salesforce org profile

policies.

• Proficiency in utilizing Java-based automation testing tools like Selenium

WebDriver for UI testing of CRM systems, enhancing testing capabilities and

efficiency through test automation expertise.

• A good understanding of JSON, XML and basic knowledge of REST/SOAP

services to ensure the quality of integrations and data exchange processes in

Salesforce.

• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and

collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to mentor junior team members and drive best practices.

Good to have

• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman is a plus, offering deeper

insights into our application's performance and integration capabilities.

• Ability to distinguish the OOTB Salesforce features and limitations against bugs

and then accordingly suggest alternate approach.
