Job Title: Group Account Manager - Social Media


Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Account Manager to oversee our clients' social media accounts and lead our dynamic social media team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, ensuring the successful execution of social media strategies, and driving business growth through exceptional service and innovative solutions.


Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong and lasting relationships.
  • Understand clients' objectives and develop tailored social media strategies to meet their goals.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, insights, and recommendations for their social media campaigns.
  1. Social Media Strategy & Execution:
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive social media strategies that align with clients' business objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others.
  • Collaborate with the social media team to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and content quality.
  1. Team Leadership & Development:
  • Manage and mentor a team of social media professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure the team is well-equipped to deliver high-quality work and meet client expectations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools, and present detailed reports to clients.
  • Analyze campaign results to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Adjust strategies as needed to maximize engagement, reach, and ROI.
  1. Business Development:
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services to existing clients, contributing to business growth.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support new business initiatives and proposals.
  • Participate in client pitches and presentations, showcasing the agency's capabilities and value proposition.
  1. Problem Solving & Client Satisfaction:
  • Proactively address any client concerns or issues, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Maintain a client-centric approach, consistently aiming to exceed client expectations and achieve high levels of satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or Group Account Manager in a social media or digital marketing environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance management.
  • Results-oriented, with a strong focus on client success and satisfaction.
