Position Title: Curriculum Developer – Mathematics

Key Responsibilities

The Curriculum/Content Developer – Math will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the creation of mathematics curriculum and instructional content aligned with global educational standards. This role requires collaboration with country-specific content development teams to ensure the materials meet local curriculum requirements while adhering to the standards set by the global team. The role also focuses on integrating educational technologies, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and ensuring the highest quality of learning resources for diverse learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development
  • Design and develop comprehensive math curricula that align with global and country specific standards (e.g., IB, CBSE, IGCSE, State Boards).
  • Establish content guidelines and frameworks for country-specific teams, ensuring alignment with the global standards.
  • Collaborate with local teams to adapt content for regional needs, addressing cultural, contextual, and curriculum-specific requirements.
  • Content Creation
  • Develop high-quality instructional materials, including lesson plans, assessments, digital resources, and practice exercises for students of varying proficiency levels.
  • Create resources emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world applications of math concepts.
  • Incorporate differentiation strategies to support struggling learners and challenge advanced students.
  • Implement a quality assurance process for reviewing and validating all instructional materials.
  • Ensure all materials are error-free, pedagogically sound, and globally adaptable.
  • Assessment and Evaluation
  • Develop tools to assess student progress and curriculum effectiveness, including diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments.
  • Analyse data and feedback from teachers and students to refine content and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Integration of EdTech Tools
  • Adapt content for digital platforms and ensure compatibility with learning management systems and offline modes of delivery.
  • Evaluate and recommend EdTech tools, such as adaptive math software, visual aids, and simulations, for potential integration.
  • Collaboration with Country-Specific Teams
  • Guide and mentor country-specific content developers to ensure adherence to global content guidelines and frameworks.
  • Facilitate regular communication and feedback loops with regional teams to align efforts and refine resources.
  • Training and Support
  • Provide training and support to regional content developers and teachers to effectively implement the developed materials.
  • Organize workshops and webinars to demonstrate the use of newly created resources and tools.
  • Research and Innovation
  • Stay informed about global trends in math education, new pedagogical strategies, and EdTech advancements.
  • Innovate and incorporate interdisciplinary approaches, ensuring content remains relevant and impactful.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Required:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Math and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
  • Desired:
  • Professional certifications in instructional design or EdTech integration are an advantage.

Experience

  • Required:
  • 3-5 years of experience in curriculum design or content development in mathematics.
  • Experience working with global education standards and adapting content to regional needs.
  • Proven track record of integrating digital tools into curriculum development.
