·     Counsel students and provide accurate information regarding the study abroad programs, courses, colleges and universities, and countries like the UK, USA, Canada, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

·     Advise students on application procedures, visa applications, applying for accommodation, and preparing students for their studies overseas.

·     Provide all the information sought precisely to the parent and/or student.

·     Ensure parent/student leaves with a positive word of mouth which can bring more clients and increase referrals.

·     Prepare Preliminary Report on the student profile and submit for further process.

·     Follow up with students throughout the process.

·     Stay updated about the various study abroad programs offered by colleges/universities and use the knowledge in helping students.

·     Help students with every detail from registration to flying to the host country.

·     Maintain a proper database of students counseled.

·     Assisting with activities to promote Universities represented by the Company.

·     Must be confident enough in speaking with students, and parents.

·     Must promote study abroad programs to students/parents in a professional manner.

·     Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements/skills of Junior Counselor:

·     Proven experience as a Student Counselor / Freshers are also considered

·     Sales/Customer service skills

·     Outstanding communication ability – verbal & written

·     Should be multilingual ( Hindi and Telugu are highly prefered )

·     Should have excellent interpersonal skills, and presentation skills

·     Confident and pleasant personality

·     Excellent marketing skills

·     Well-organized

·     Ability to work with targets

·     Sound judgement

·     Bachelors degree
