Job Description - Business Development Manager (Sales)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential business opportunities in new and existing markets. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. Ensure customer satisfaction and deliver solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize revenue.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Provide insights to improve business strategy and positioning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development efforts with the company’s goals.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, meetings, and client interactions. Prepare regular reports on performance, targets, and opportunities.
  • Travelling: Open to travelling as required for business meetings, client visits, and industry events.


Qualifications:

  • B.Tech or Master of Business Administration (preferred).
  • 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other business tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Proven track record in negotiations and closing deals.
