Job Overview
The role of Operational Specialist GeM at Aevitas Procurement Services Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, mid-level position based in Noida. The specialist will focus on managing and optimizing procurement processes on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform. The role requires adept knowledge of vendor management, order management, and compliance, ensuring a streamlined procurement experience for our business clients.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient knowledge of the GeM platform is mandatory for efficiently handling government-related procurement tasks. (Mandatory skill)
- Experienced in vendor management to develop and maintain relationships with various suppliers and service providers.
- Skilled in order management to oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle from requisition to payment.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory knowledge to ensure all procurement activities meet the necessary legal standards.
- Detail-oriented in reporting and documentation (PO, Invoicing etc.) to accurately track procurement operations and ensure data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate needs clearly, provide guidance, and collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- Problem-solving and issue resolution capabilities to quickly address and mitigate any challenges in procurement processes.
- Effective time management and multitasking to juggle various responsibilities while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining quality.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities on the GeM platform, ensuring seamless and efficient operations for government clients.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms for organizations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing and fulfillment.
- Ensure all procurement practices adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and document all procurement activities to maintain clear records.
- Identify and address potential operational issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide the necessary support and information.
- Revise and improve procurement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
