Job Summary
As a Senior Amazon Ads Specialist, you will manage 3 key client accounts independently while leading and mentoring a team of 2-3 junior ad specialists. This role demands expertise in Amazon Advertising (AMS), experience handling ₹15L-20L budgets, and the ability to deliver exceptional results. In addition to account management, you will audit potential accounts, develop SOPs and systems, support team success, and play a key role in building and scaling client performance.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Account Management
- Independently manage 3 key accounts, driving performance and ROI growth
- Scale & Optimize campaigns across AMS
- Troubleshoot underperforming campaigns and achieve key performance metrics: ACOS, ROAS, CTR, CVR, and sales growth
2. Team Leadership & Accountability
- Strategize and lead a team of 2-3 junior ad specialists, each managing 6-7 accounts
- Mentor team members, ensuring they hit their KPIs; ultimate accountability lies with you for team performance
- Conduct daily huddles to align goals, resolve challenges, and provide emotional and professional support
3. Client Communication
- Attend client calls for your accounts and the team’s key accounts to provide updates, strategies, and results
- Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and consistent results
4. SOP Creation & Systems Development
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and scale accounts effectively
- Improve processes for troubleshooting, campaign optimization, and team efficiency
5. Account Audits & Business Development
- Conduct detailed audits of new and potential client accounts to identify opportunities for growth
- Present actionable insights and strategies to prospects to close and onboard new accounts
6. Recruitment & Team Building
- Participate in interviewing and finalizing new recruits to build a strong, high-performing team
Mandatory Requirements
- Account Auditing: Strong ability to audit accounts and deliver actionable strategies for scaling
- Analytics Skills: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for performance tracking, reporting, and analysis
- Client Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Account Performance: 90%+ of your managed accounts must meet or exceed KPIs
- Team Performance: Ensure 90%+ of accounts handled by your team achieve their monthly KPIs
- Client Retention: Maintain a 90%+ client retention rate
- Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement one new SOP monthly to improve team workflows
- Account Audits: Successfully audit and pitch strategies to onboard new clients
