Urgently Looking for MEAN QA Engineer at the location of Bengaluru.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Engineer with expertise in Cypress, TypeScript, and automation testing to join our quality assurance team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. As a MEAN QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications. Key Responsibilities:

As a MEAN QA Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for:

1. Test Planning: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover functional, regression, and performance testing.

2. Automated Testing: Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress and TypeScript to ensure the reliability and scalability of our web applications.

3. Test Execution: Executing automated test suites, analyzing results, and identifying defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.

4. Regression Testing: Conducting regression testing to validate new features and changes while ensuring the stability of existing functionality.

5. Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

6. Defect Management: Managing defects by accurately documenting issues, collaborating with developers to resolve them, and verifying bug fixes.

7. Performance Testing: Contributing to performance testing efforts to identify and address bottlenecks and scalability concerns.

8. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance test processes, automation frameworks, and overall testing efficiency.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in QA engineering with a focus on Cypress and automation testing.

- Proficiency in using Cypress for end-to-end testing of web applications.

- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or a similar language.

- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

- Knowledge of QA methodologies, best practices, and processes.

- Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and databases.

- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Familiarity with backend testing using Java or Node.js.

- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing.
