Steel Structure Billing Engineer will be responsible for accurately billing steel structures, executed in infrastructure projects, ensuring that project work billing is done as per the agreed time schedule with the Client. Your expertise in steel structure engineering (such as knowing about various light, medium and heavy structural sections viz. ISMC, ISMB, ISA, Box Section etc., knowledge about per meter weight of such structural elements etc), ability to accurately read the steel structure drawings, knowledge about billing practices will be essential in ensuring the success of the project billing.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, if required also taking measurements at site.

Prepare and submit invoices to clients in a timely manner, following regarding outstanding payments realization.

Maintain a detailed record of all project billing related correspondence in respect of steel structure billing.

Conduct regular site visits to assess steel structure quantities executed for the project and their compliance with specifications and code requirements.

Qualification:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or in Mechanical Engineering.

Proven experience in steel structure drawings comprehending, engineering and billing.

Reasonably good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment at site.
