Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services necessary for the manufacturing of our electronic items. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management and will play a critical role in optimizing our procurement strategies and vendor relationships.
Qualifications and Skills

- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of cost-saving initiatives.
- Excellent understanding of market dynamics and supplier networks.
- Ability to manage inventory efficiently and forecast procurement needs.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely availability of materials and services. Forecast procurement needs based on production schedules, inventory levels, and market trends.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost savings and quality standards. Monitor vendor performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Cost Management: Analyze market trends to determine competitive pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with budgets while maintaining quality standards.
- Inventory Control: Work closely with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize overstocking or shortages. Monitor and manage inventory turnover to prevent obsolescence.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train the procurement team to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies. Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining accountability and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and savings achieved. Present insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
