Job Objective

Monitoring and setting responsibilities for the continuous running of equipment and machinery in Industrial settings. Maintain efficiency, development and progress activities of engineering maintenance & projects.

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

• Standardize & Design Maintenance Strategies:
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
• Proactively maintain equipment with O&M engineers.
• Expedite breakdown and planned maintenance work.
• Diagnose and Review Breakdown Problems:
• Diagnose and review breakdown issues.
• Possess knowledge of integrated terminal control systems, PLC SCADA, and APMS.
• Budget Planning and Monitoring:
• Supervise budget planning and monitoring.
• Monitor and control maintenance costs.
• Weekly Maintenance Plans:
• Ensure weekly maintenance plans are reviewed daily to prevent backlog as per SAP PM schedules.
• Analysis of Repetitive Failures:
• Conduct analysis of repetitive failures in the automation plant.
• Engage with the team to find solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Emergency and Unplanned Problems Management:
• Address emergencies and monitor unplanned problems and repairs.
• Health and Safety Policies:
• Improve health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintenance Activities:
• Plan and review maintenance activities for execution and quality of work.
• KPI/KRA and Skill Development:
• Monitor KPIs/KRAs and conduct skill assessments.
• Develop skill development plans for subordinates.
• Project Details and Cost Estimate Review:
• Review and monitor project details, scope engineering documents, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with contractors and other departments for execution.
• Governance on Quality, Legal, and Safety Requirements:
• Ensure governance on quality, legal, and safety requirements during maintenance.
• Procurement and Contracting Services:
• Monitor and coordinate procurement of materials and contracting services with internal specialists.
• Handover and Closure of Maintenance Jobs/Projects:
• Ensure timely handover and closure of maintenance jobs/projects to the operational domain.
• Risk Monitoring and Mitigation:
• Review and monitor risks.
• Seek ways to mitigate risks to enhance safety.
• Analysis of Equipment Failures:
• Conduct analysis of repetitive equipment failures.
• Engage with the team to find solutions to prevent recurrence.

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

Experiences:

• Total – 12 to 15 years relevant experience in Electrical Maintenance. Partial Project & full-time

maintenance experience will be more appropriate for the said position.
