Job Objective

• Review of Projects throughout Project Life Cycle (PLC) & ensure generation of project

exception report in terms of Physical and Fiscal for Management Intervention.

• Controlling of Budget by ensuring completion of project within contractual time frame –

Spent Analysis /Variance Analysis.

• Ensuring Project Review Meeting, Keep track of Project Progress through analyzing

Project MIS, by leveraging various project management techniques like ‘S’ Curves,

Earned Value Management (EVM), Project Evaluation and Review Techniques (PERT),

Critical Path Method (CPM).

• Cost optimization by ensuring integration & coordination amongst various internal &

external stakeholders and also align supply of material/resources with respect to L2

schedule.

• Provide requisite inputs in transmission line routes and POE calculation of prospective

bidding opportunity.


Strategic Roles and Responsibility

• Promote data analytics platform for further improvement of project planning, monitoring & control practices.

• Provide timely inputs based on experience/ learnings of past projects for finalization of Technical Specifications/ Contract Documents/ SOP optimization and implementation of new technology for effective project management.

• Ensuring inputs for ESG.

• To maintain relationship with external stakeholders and address the concerns for improvement on project progress

• To pursue / ensure with internal & external stakeholders for statutory proposals & ensuring the timely clearances w.r.t L1, L2 Schedule for fulfilment of the project objectives in terms of time, cost and quality

• Provide inputs for representation to industry bodies like EPTA and Govt. bodies like CEA, REC, PFC, PGCIL, CTU, STU, etc.

• Ensure quarterly risk review meeting & identify potential risks to project and ensure mitigation from respective department.

• Firm up Project Budget for Management approval.

• Ensuring key assumptions during bid stage are documented & their proper dissemination for execution of winning projects.

• Develop various protocol to ensure Projects completion within scheduled time frame & cost.

• Review of Project Cash Flow to minimize variances & highlight major cost variances to management

• Control Project Schedule & Budget. Deriving EAC/ETC in terms of time & cost

• Keep Track of progress by leveraging S curves

• Ensure Project MIS on time, its scientific analysis and Generating Exception Report both in terms of Physical & Fiscal and highlighting problem areas for management intervention.

• Ensure Implementation of Policies and Guidelines/SOPs across all projects

• Facilitate in finalization human resources for new project in accordance with immediate as well as long term plans.

• Preparation and implementation of development plans for team members.

• Monitoring of regulatory compliances/statutory norms/CP & CS of TSA

• Ensure accurate feedback of progress to the concerned functional heads and higher management on exception basis.

• Ensure technical and quality audits at sites.

• Facilitate F&A team for finance and refinancing of Project.

• Ensure capitalization of assets immediate after commissioning or achieving deemed SCOD.


Educational Qualification:

• BE / B.Tech. – Electrical + desirable MBA or equivalent management certification.


Experiences:

• Min 10-12 years of Experience in Erection/Commissioning/Project Management of infra projects (Transmission lines & Substation Projects).

• Should have Min 3 years of experience in Site Project Management/ Project execution.

• PMP or equivalent project management related certification course will have added advantage.

• Should have knowledge on various Project Management tools such as Primavera (P6), MS Projects, as well as knowledge on Advance Excel, Power BI tools for planning & analysis.

• Should have experience in Project Management/Contract Management/Construction Management of multiple projects.

• Know-how of Engineering & Design Aspects and regulatory aspects of transmission network planning.
